Restoring Unity to Community Through Song

The Community Gospel Choir of St. Louis is diverse group of singers, bringing together people from all backgrounds, skill levels, faiths, and ages — since 2007.

Our choir builds bridges that restore unity to “community” through the tradition of African-American spirituals and the energy of Gospel music. We collaborate with social justice organizations to break down walls of injustice, building bridges to unite a community far too divided, delivering messages of hope and joy found in the Good News through song. Our goal is to show diverse audiences how much they have in common.

We get audiences singing and talking to bring healing to our community whose divisions still run deep.
